Spending Fresno Unified’s One-Time Funding Where It Matters Most
A Seat at the Table
As budget decisions loom, parents are advocating for lasting investments in student success. Families deserve a seat at the table when decisions are made about how Fresno Unified spends one-time May Revision funding.
As Fresno Unified reviews one-time May Revision funding, families across the district are asking a crucial question: What investments will produce lasting results for our students?
With declining enrollment and persistent attendance challenges, closing budget gaps isn't enough. The Fresno Community Parent Coalition believes one-time dollars must be directed toward transparent, high-impact strategies that directly benefit students and rebuild community trust.
Our Key Priorities for May Revision Dollars
Rebuilding trust and increasing direct parent involvement.
Re-engaging students to boost enrollment and attendance.
Investing in proven literacy programs and classroom support.
Increase enrollment and retention of students.
